What do we do with your personal data?

After you submit our form we will match you with a debt advisor who will attempt to reach you by phone, email and/or text message for your free consultation. To do so, we need to store and transfer your personal data as indicated in our Privacy Policy. Here's how that happens:

We (0910385 BC Ltd) store your data in a secure server located in Canada, then transfer it to Boberdoo, a software provider located in the USA that we use to help match you with a third-party debt advisor. If we can find a debt advisor to match you with, your data will be transferred to one of the following Debt Companies located in the United Kingdom.

You may be matched with our partner Breitrock who uses Leadspedia (located in the United States) to match you with a debt advisor.

In addition to the information we request on our form, your IP address will be stored in our server logs for fraud prevention and security reasons and may also be shared with your debt advisor. Your data is transferred using industry standard encryption each step of the way and will be securely stored in our system for no longer than 90 days. After that your data will be deleted or anonymised.

There are four other third-party software providers that may temporarily have access to your data. These include Data8 (to ensure you provide a valid phone number), PCA Predict (to help you look up your address), NeverBounce (to ensure you provide a valid email address), and Twilio (to send you a verification SMS message). These providers delete your personal information within 90 days of completion of their tasks.

To build and maintain our technology, we work with AnswersWanted Services Inc, a trusted software development and systems admin company. While performing their required duties, they may also have access to your personal data from time to time.

Lastly, as part of our advertising process some analytics services and advertising networks may set cookies and have access to your IP address after you complete our form. Please see our Cookie Policy for more info.

Can you withdraw your consent?

Absolutely! To do so, click here or the Consent link at the bottom of our website. Simply provide the email address you used to fill out our form and we will immediately send you an email to confirm your identity with a link to access your personal data. From there you can easily export, update or withdraw your consent with the click of a button.

Once we have received your request to withdraw your consent, we will delete your personal data from our systems and notify the debt advisor you've been matched with of your request. This process is usually done within 24 hours but may take up to 7 business days. Updating your data will take a similar amount of time. Exporting your data is immediate.
